Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel Unveils New Restaurant, Two45 Waterfront Grille

The Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel, which underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation of all its guest rooms this winter, is introducing a new reimagined restaurant, Two45 Waterfront Grille.
According to the hotel, the restaurant features panoramic bay views and offers traditional American cuisine, focusing on seafood with a coastal flare. Chef specialties include macadamia-crusted grouper, premium cuts of beef, and bone-in tomahawk pork chops.
The hotel said Two45 gets its name from an important moment in history. In 1813 at 2:45 p.m., during the battle of Lake Erie, the signal was made for American forces to take closer action against the British.
Shortly after that, U.S. Naval Commander Oliver Hazard Perry and his crew aboard the Brig Niagara cross the British line and opened fire. Historians said the battle was over by 2:50 p.m.
“We wanted to honor Erie’s maritime history in a unique way — focusing on the particular moment in time when the flag was raised, the battle was won, and heroes were made," said Stacy Tupek, Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel General Manager.
Two45 Waterfront Grille is located on the first floor of the newly renovated hotel in the space formerly
occupied by Bayfront Grille. The restaurant will serve dinner from 5-10 p.m. on weekdays and 5-11 p.m. on weekends. Brunch will be served from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
