Erie News Now is hosting its 19th annual food drive Wednesday, Nov. 20, to collect donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania ahead of the holidays.

The food drive allows the community to donate non-perishable food items, frozen turkeys and money without leaving their car at 11 locations throughout the region.

All donations collected at each location remain in the community where it was collected.

Every dollar donated to the food bank can help provide six meals to people in need.

In 2018, Erie News Now's food drive collected $41,355 in cash donations, 35,060 pounds of food and 470 turkeys.
