The Pennsylvania Superior Court has affirmed the decision by a Crawford County Judge to disallow a woman to withdraw her guilty plea in a brutal murder.

Ashley Barber pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the 2012 death of Brandy Stevens.

Barber and Jade Olmstead admitted to the murder in the woods behind Barber's parent's home and received an automatic life sentences.

Barber told the court she wanted to take back her guilty plea because she claimed she was suffering from various mental health issues when she admitted to the crime.

She also blamed her lawyer.

Barber now has 30 days to file a petition with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for it to hear her appeal.
